Walking Meditation

For today’s session I want you to try something called a ‘Meditation Walk’ in nature. Go to a nearby garden or park, and simple wander. That’s it. This is NOT a fast walk, and it’s not a time to catch up on your phone calls, text or check Facebook. It is purely and solely about wandering slowly through nature, possibly stopping to sit or lie down and close your eyes for a few moments, and basically just revitalising your soul by being amongst nature.

The slower and more aimless your wandering, the better.

Your goal is at least 20 minutes – do you think you can go slowly for that long?!
