WEEK 40: Winter Freeze!

Winter is the time we all turn to comfort foods more than what we might like to think we do. Whether or not you read this in winter, today’s sample meal plan is a great example of how to eat to warm up your metabolism¬† – the ultimate way to steer clear of the Winter OR Summer eating blues.

  • 630am: Leftover home-made beef schnitzel. Crumbing of coconut flour, coconut, flaxseeds ground, herbs, salt. Doses in egg before crumbed. 2 black coffees.
  • 930am: PWO boiled egg and 20 BCAAs.
  • 12 noon: Leftover bolognaise sauce with some chopped raw celery. Strong 3/4 latte.
  • 3pm: Out and about – Nando’s chicken thighs, sauce free. And a boiled egg I brought from home!
  • 7.30pm: Half a block of haloumi (so good in Winter!), 200 grams of kangaroo, avocado and pan-fried broccolini
  • 9pm: Homemade chocolate-coconut-raspberry truffle ball. Amazing!
